- Job Description Summary: This role plays a critical part in overall success of the farm operations within the vaccination crew.
- This crew has primary responsibilities for the animal care and welfare of the birds.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrist
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50lbs
- Will be required to collect birds for moving, weighing, and vaccinations
- Must be able to work with live animals and the associated environment
- Ability to work with chemicals such as detergents, disinfects, etc.
- Must be able to be around farm related smells or odors and loud/noisy environment
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions and perform simple task
- Ability to perform work that is repetitive in nature
- Bend and stoop throughout the shift
Nice to have
- Animal husbandry experience preferred but not required.
