Responsibilities

  • Support the management of all aspects of food and beverage operations, including order taking, service delivery, and guest satisfaction across all dining venues.
  • Maintain exceptional service standards through consistent supervision, training, and performance feedback.
  • Support daily pre-shift meetings to ensure alignment on service goals and guest preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop strategies that enhance service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Support initiatives to innovate and elevate the food and beverage experience in alignment with industry trends and guest expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury food and beverage environment.
  • Strong operational knowledge of food service, beverage management, and guest engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • TIPS and ServSafe certifications required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 45 lbs
  • prolonged standing and walking required.
  • Assist with ordering, procurement, and vendor coordination as required.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across departments.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 45 lbs; prolonged standing and walking required.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of climates.
  • Sensitivity to cultural nuances and commitment to Aman's philosophy of genuine, intuitive service.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with Micros, SevenRooms, and Opera systems highly preferred.
  • Multi-lingual abilities a plus.
