About the role

- Work on power delivery, power conversion, and battery-adjacent systems
Responsibilities
- As an Electrical Engineer at Droyd, you will focus on system-level electrical design across motors, power, and platform integration.
- You will help build the electrical backbone of the robot, including power conversion and the systems that support motion and mobile operation.
- Design and integrate electrical systems for motors, mobile platforms, and robot subsystems
- Support electrical architecture for 24-48V systems and related hardware
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and robotics teams on system integration
- We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
Requirements
- Have strong experience with system-level electrical engineering
Nice to have
- Experience with robotics or mechatronic systems
- Experience with power electronics or converters
- Experience with batteries, motor systems, or mobile robots
- If we do this right, robots stop being demos and start being infrastructure.
Compensation
- $150K-$210K base salary, plus equity
