- Job Description The University of Nevada Reno is recruiting for roles that will fill the Board of Directors of the Residential Housing Association (RHA).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with RHA Executive team to plan and organize events and programs.
- Maintain RHA Resource center, scheduling of office hours, and monitor the check in/out process of office resources.
- Maintain organization social media accounts
- Under the supervision of the Coordinator for Student Engagement, the RHA Board of Directors consists of 5 roles that work alongside the RHA Executive Board to promote engagement through intentional programming, provide resources, advocacy, and operational support to residents within all communities of Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services at the University of Nevada.
- Throughout the term of employment all 5 directors are expected to work to support RHA overall, but there may be specific timely project- based requests that each board member may be assigned or otherwise asked to work on by the Executive Board or Coordinator of Student Engagement.
- Candidate must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average (both semester and cumulative) while holding the Board of Director position.
