- The Senior Capture Manager will also play a key role in supporting and guiding junior BD staff, including BD Associates.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of capture activities across all phases (qualification, shaping, positioning, and pre-RFP readiness)
- Leverage and actively expand relationships within DoW to gather intelligence, validate opportunity direction, and create access to key decision-makers.
- Build and maintain relationships with DoW stakeholders, technical personnel, and industry partners to support opportunity development.
- Plan and execute listening campaigns, including developing call plans and capturing insights, and synthesize client to inform strategy and solutioning.
- Support, and where appropriate, lead discrete pre-positioning efforts, including customer engagement planning, partner coordination, staffing strategies, and early solution development.
- Identify and engage potential teaming partners, supporting outreach, coordination, and relationship management.
- Support identification and recruitment of Key Personnel, including candidate outreach, screening, and ensuring alignment with client needs and overall capture strategy.
- Serve as a key coordinator across Capture Leads, Proposal Managers, and functional teams to ensure continuity from early shaping through submission.
- Support the development and expansion of a network within DoW, leveraging relationships to inform strategy and generate new opportunities.
- Mentor and support BD Associates, providing guidance on capture best practices.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in business development, capture, or related roles.
- Experience supporting capture efforts and proposal development for federal opportunities.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoW procurement processes, and solicitation methods.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Direct experience supporting DoW programs or customers.
- Experience engaging with DoW stakeholders and a demonstrated ability to build and leverage professional relationships.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with DoW personnel and industry partners.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Current DoW security clearance at a minimum of a SECRET level.

When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.

- $110,000 - $140,000 USD
