About the role
- As a Machinist, you'll operate a variety of shop equipment, with a primary focus on Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)- including conventional lathes, milling machines, horizontal mills, drills, borers, and grinders.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Inspect machinery for needed repairs, documents them, make minor repairs.
- Maintain log of time spent on jobs.
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean work area and shop.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and/or Equivalent work experience Manufacturing or shop experience (8-10 years) Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
