About the role
- The organization includes six hospitals, 5 ERs, and over 80 clinics.
Responsibilities
- The NICU nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of treatments and the plan of care.
Requirements
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Previous nursing experience
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
- Exhibits valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Must obtain NRP within one year of hire
- They comfort the neonates and provide education and comfort to the families.
