Job Description: Uchi Philadelphia is accepting resumes for Sushi Chefs!
In this role, you will serve as a vital member of our team, enriching the culinary and service experience for our guests.
A delicate balance of elevated food and impeccable service, Uchi offers non-traditional Japanese cuisine with signature tastings, sushi, and a seasonal omakase - creating an experience that is both unexpected and unforgettable.

Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu!

Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, grills, and knives
Ability to work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area

Sushi Chefs make an average of $25-$30 per hour (base + tips) plus benefits!
We're offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid out 90 days after completion of training.
