About the role

Job Details: Job Description: As a Software Technician at Intel, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining and improving the reliability of systems that enable factory floor, laboratory, and datacenter operations.
You will execute OS patching, OS upgrades, and defined OS procedures while also editing, modifying, and/or debugging software products in accordance with established software test plans and procedures.
This role contributes directly to system availability, controlled change execution, and product quality in a secure environment.

Support datacenter operations and associated equipment/systems, ensuring changes are implemented with minimal operational impact and in accordance with change control.
Maintain disciplined documentation: change records, work notes, test evidence, outage/maintenance reports, and shift handoffs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, infrastructure teams) to coordinate maintenance windows, validate outcomes, and improve procedures.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

U.S. Citizenship required.
High School diploma required, with 6+ years of relevant or military experience
Proficiency in editing, debugging, and modifying software in accordance with test procedures.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
