About the role
- Job Details: Job Description: As a Software Technician at Intel, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining and improving the reliability of systems that enable factory floor, laboratory, and datacenter operations.
- You will execute OS patching, OS upgrades, and defined OS procedures while also editing, modifying, and/or debugging software products in accordance with established software test plans and procedures.
- This role contributes directly to system availability, controlled change execution, and product quality in a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Support datacenter operations and associated equipment/systems, ensuring changes are implemented with minimal operational impact and in accordance with change control.
- Maintain disciplined documentation: change records, work notes, test evidence, outage/maintenance reports, and shift handoffs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, infrastructure teams) to coordinate maintenance windows, validate outcomes, and improve procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High School diploma required, with 6+ years of relevant or military experience
- Proficiency in editing, debugging, and modifying software in accordance with test procedures.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve technical issues.

Compensation
- $54,670.00-102,790.00 USD (Hourly Role)
