About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful, empathetic support to reporters and make decisions that prioritize the safety and well-being of children.
- Create accurate written reports that include both the information collected and your rationale for each decision.
- Help create safer futures for Oregon's children.
Requirements
- To qualify for this position, you must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- A bachelor's degree in human services or a field related to human service.
- A bachelor's degree unrelated to Human Services and either:
- An associate degree and either:
- Experience alone will not meet the minimum qualifications for those positions. * Degree must be completed, not in progress.
- Experience conducting interviews to gather information that informs critical analysis and decision-making.
- Experience using critical thinking to assess complex situations under pressure and make appropriate decisions.

- The job offer will be contingent upon passing test(s) evaluating your proficiency in the bilingual requirements of the position.

Compensation
- This position may receive a 5% differential pay based on passing the required language test.
- Annual salary increases (until you reach the top of the listed salary range).
