About the role

  • Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Ultra Electronics is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team to build, inspect, and test new build products.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with others in a cooperative, team manner.
  • Ability to professionally handle critical feedback from quality inspectors and management.
  • US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
  • The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working in electronic circuit board assembly and/or experience hand soldering electronics.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to visually inspect product or parts through a microscope.
  • Must pass eye exam (can wear glasses or contacts).
  • Controlled hand dexterity for working with tweezers, soldering irons and tiny components.
  • Controlled hand-eye coordination for manipulating tiny components under a microscope.
  • Ability to read and follow production procedures.
