About the role
- Lendz Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Closing Specialist to join our growing operations team.
- This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and compliant loan closing process, supporting both first and second mortgage transactions across our Non-QM product suite.

Responsibilities
- Manage the closing and funding process for assigned mortgage loan files, including first and second liens
- Prepare and review closing documents, including Loan Estimates (LE), Closing
- Partner with title companies to resolve title issues and ensure clear closing conditions
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Underwriters to address and resolve file-level issues
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of mortgage closing experience required, including first and/or second liens
- Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, closing processes, and loan documentation
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- High school diploma or equivalent required
