About the role
- Acts as a liaison between multiple departments to resolve issues or answer inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Performs accounting functions including monthly account reconciliations, monitoring certain monthly accruals and preparing journal entries in order to ensure proper reporting financials.
- Maintains and analyzes fixed asset ledger in order to ensure purchases are classified properly and fall within budget.
- Performs and analyzes monthly closing and various daily activities in relation to inventory and cash management.
- Performs financial analysis and assists in financial reporting activities in order to ensure proper recording of transactions.
- Under moderate supervision, provides support for month-end closing requirements including fixed assets, journal entries, banking, financial reporting and closing requirements.
