About the role

  • This role will be based in Wentzville, MO for at least one year.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Assist in developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work a night shift schedule
  • Strong knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Candidates must be within driving distance or willing to stay in a hotel Monday through Friday.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing safety programs

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred
  • Experience with traffic control/protection or work zones preferred
  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a safety role, with construction experience preferred
