About the role
- This position is responsible for managing the Outage Management departments in a cost-effective business environment.
- Plan and schedule for both refueling outages and forced outages.
- Employing lean techniques in continuous improvement processes to ensure each area of responsibility is constantly improving the associated processes and adding to the value of the plant, people, processes and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely support generation obligation while carefully managing risk.
- Aggressively participate in industry benchmarking / peer groups to ensure the station remains a top decile performer in outage execution as compared to similar design plants.
- Drive Station performance to top decile as measured by INPO.
Requirements
- These plans and schedules coordinate the efforts of the various work, support, and engineering organizations as required to effectively maintain Vistra nuclear equipment in a high state of readiness.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 8 years -experience in Nuclear Power Plant Maintenance, Operations or Work Management
- SRO License or Certification required
