About the role
- The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the business, including operations, sales, customer experience, financial results, and team development.
- This position carries full responsibility for operational execution, employee engagement, profitability, and delivering industry-leading customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead all daily business operations, including service, installation, warehouse, scheduling, customer service, and sales.
- Create a culture of accountability through consistent leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement across all departments.
- Own branch P&L performance and achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Manage labor productivity, inventory, expenses, fleet utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop exceptional leaders and employees.
- Build a culture centered on safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality standards that reinforce Action Garage Door's reputation for excellence.
- Partner with sales leadership to drive residential and commercial growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential or commercial home services.
- 3+ years leading multi-department operations with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience using business management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- All candidates are required to undergo pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings, as well as a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Nice to have
- Experience in the garage door, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or similar home service industries.
- ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent leadership experience).
- Experience leading organizations through growth and operational transformation.

Compensation
- $125,000-$175,000
