About the role
- The City of Fresno is continuously seeking energetic hard-working individuals to assist and enhance the various functions and services our city provides.
- Work schedules vary according to department operations and needs.
- Pursuant to the City of Fresno Charter, temporary employment shall not exceed 2,080 hours within 2 fiscal years; and may not exceed 29 working hours per week or if working up to 40 hours per week may not exceed 120 days.
Responsibilities
- The Airports Department located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is hiring temporary field and office work positions with duties such as: providing a variety of Airport safety and security duties, checking badges for entrance into secured locations, and general clerical and office support.
Requirements
- /Requirements Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications on or before the posted filing deadline to be sent to the department for consideration.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Applicant must be able to work in adverse conditions on any shift (days, graveyard, nights).

- Selection Process All applications will remain active for a minimum of six months and may be reviewed and considered for temporary opportunities.
- The selected candidates certified will be required to successfully pass a department interview and a Department of Justice fingerprint prior to employment with the City of Fresno.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
- Candidates considered for hire must provide proof of a valid driver's license and a current copy of their driving record.
