About the role
- The Monitor Technician functions as a member of the patient care team, under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), and under the direction of the unit director.
- Continuously monitors, interprets, and reports cardiac rhythms and other hemodynamic perimeters to appropriate personnel.

- Demonstrates accountability for maintaining and advancing job performance skills.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Orients and mentors new staff members, serving as a resource.
