Responsibilities
- Maintain clinical competency in speech language pathology practice and theory.

Requirements
- One year of supervised professional experience in providing Speech-Language Pathology services.
- Must have the use of an automobile in good working condition and automobile insurance.
- Perform other duties as required to facilitate the delivery of speech language pathology services and swallowing assistive services.
- Education: Must possess a master's degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
- Must possess current license as a Speech Language Pathologist from the State of Ohio or made application for same.
- Must possess valid driver's license.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Maintains current CPR certification.

Compensation
- Complete a minimum of twelve (12) hours of in-services per year.

- Confer with the attending physician, home health team members and patient and/or family/caregivers to promote coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Identify patient and family needs for other home health services and refer them to the services.
- Supervise homemakers /home health aides when they are participating in the patient's therapy regime.
- Prepare and submit clinical and progress notes in a timely manner and in accordance with Otterbein Home Health, state and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Meet or exceed delivery of Otterbein Home Health service standards in a consistent fashion.
