Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining project financial records, including data entry and document management.
  • Support the Project Accountant in verifying and processing project budgets, change orders, and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation for projects, including invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
  • Order and track compliance documents such as insurance certificates, bonds, and lien waivers, ensuring they are up-to-date and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Help manage and organize project files and records, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Help track and manage accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments and addressing billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Project Accounting Team

  • You will work closely with our Project Accountant to support various administrative tasks related to project accounting, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
  • In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the desire to provide a high level of service
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changes to planned tasks or schedule
  • The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions.

Nice to have

  • Construction Industry experience a plus
  • Spectrum accounting/project management software, Crystal reports, and database management a plus
