Responsibilities

  • Lead and support team of specialists in compiling & reporting product portfolio including development, procurement, manufacturing costs to target in tandem with volume, pricing, material cost, and other project costs to secure top financial targets including, but not limited to, return on sales, NPV, ROI, and funding requirements
  • Maintain hat and platform categorization of project through Cash Registry
  • Lead & provide recommendations to accessories business activities with main interface from finance to consolidate return on sales portfolio and track target achieved
  • Support coordination across R&D, Design, Product Marketing, Quality NOVI, and Product Management controlling activities to ensure delivery of budgetary goals per annum & forecasts are submitted according to deadlines to maintain credibility with VW stakeholders as well as accounting requirements are met
  • Provides financial recommendations to support investment decisions up to 10M EUR per decision & main committee representative to support VP
  • Supports launch / pre-series activities between MST LF and SOP+3 to ensure sufficient funding & stable launch
  • Coordinate planning rounds activities as lead for product finance interface
  • Support AKO investment tracking processes & target transfer processes

Requirements

  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel including, but not limited to: financial modeling, business case creation, scenario & sensitivity analysis, and lookback evaluation
  • Experience with Finance Enterprise Resource Programs ( e.g. SAP)

Skills

  • 10+ years of finance experience or 6+ years of relevant financial product steering/controlling
  • Strong skills in leading decision making cross functional teams
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives and board

Compensation

  • This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
  • Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
  • The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
  • Initial base salary range = $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
