Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network and server infrastructure.
  • Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Manage backups, system updates, and security patches.
  • Maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Support end users and work with vendors when needed.
  • Our client is seeking a Systems & Network Administrator to manage and support the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network performance, system availability, and security.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewall administration.
  • Experience with Scale Computing HyperCore (HC3) virtualization platform.
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
  • Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewall administration.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience administering network environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and maintaining virtualization platforms.
  • Understanding of network security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure or AWS) is a plus.
