About the role
- Milestone Environmental is seeking an experienced Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join our dynamic team of environmental professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the process design and engineering of water treatment systems, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes (e.g., coagulation/flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, membrane systems, ion exchange, advanced oxidation, solids dewatering, bioreactors, etc.).
- Develop and optimize treatment system designs for a diverse range of applications:
- Prepare and manage the delivery of detailed engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, BOMs, Equipment Layouts, and cost estimates.
- Support of bid teams with technical reviews and RFP deliverables.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, environmental regulations and permits.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of securing new business and growing a pipeline in a competitive market.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
- Occasional field visits may be required.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Work is usually in an office environment.
Nice to have
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
