About the role

Milestone Environmental is seeking an experienced Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join our dynamic team of environmental professionals.

Lead the process design and engineering of water treatment systems, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes (e.g., coagulation/flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, membrane systems, ion exchange, advanced oxidation, solids dewatering, bioreactors, etc.).
Develop and optimize treatment system designs for a diverse range of applications:
Prepare and manage the delivery of detailed engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, BOMs, Equipment Layouts, and cost estimates.
Support of bid teams with technical reviews and RFP deliverables.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, environmental regulations and permits.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field teams.

5+ years of experience in business development, sales or a related field.
Proven track record of securing new business and growing a pipeline in a competitive market.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
Occasional field visits may be required.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Work is usually in an office environment.
