Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for critical BESS components, including batteries, inverters, auxiliary equipment, and enclosures Manage the purchase orders, shipping, and receiving processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures Track and report on procurement performance metrics, such as cost savings, delivery performance, and supplier quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department, focusing on efficiency, cost reductions, and process automation Prepare regular procurement reports and dashboards for senior management, tracking key performance indicators and procurement metrics Mentor and train junior buyers, providing guidance and best practices for sourcing and supplier management

- This role demands a strategic, results-oriented approach to sourcing and purchasing, combined with deep knowledge of the energy storage sector, its supply chain dynamics, and the technical aspects of BESS components.
