About the role

We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented accounting professional who loves diving into complex technical topics and transforming data into insights.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a small, collaborative accounting team within a PE-backed software company.

Partner with relevant areas of the business as needed.
Cash Forecasting: Build and maintain a bi-monthly cash forecast model for the CFO and senior finance leadership.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and build scalable processes.

Provide solutions backed by authoritative guidance and solid accounting judgment.
What You Bring CPA required
7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a blend of public accounting and industry exposure.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to interpret and apply guidance to new and complex issues.
Experience preparing technical accounting memos, cash flow statements, and/or complex consolidations.
Hands-on experience in ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
Exceptional Excel and analytical skills.
Naturally curious and comfortable working through ambiguity with sound logic and confidence.

Own the accounting for accounting for leases, debt, intangibles, goodwill, equity and internally developed software under ASC 985-20.
Lead Technical Accounting & Documentation: Research, interpret, and document technical accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP, including ASC 985-20, ASC 842, ASC 350, debt, equity, and purchase accounting.
