About the role
- We are looking for a dependable driver to operate semi-trucks, truck w/ trailers, flatbeds, and/or tanker vehicles for local material deliveries in Minneapolis area.
- The driver will be responsible for safely transporting and securing loads while ensuring timely deliveries.
- This is a local driving position with routes that allow you to be home daily.
Responsibilities
- Maintain driver logs, vehicle maintenance, and cleanliness
- Deliver construction/roofing materials and equipment to job sites
- Climb on and off trailers to inspect, secure, and manage loads
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL is required
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsement is required
- Air brakes endorsement is required
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) inspection is required
- Experience operating forklifts and all-terrain forklifts
- Ability to load and properly secure materials
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules, regulations, and towing practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship)
- Load and unload trailers as required
Compensation
- $28k-$35k

Company info
- Comply with all vehicle driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures, including reporting defects, accidents, and violations
- Follow company procedures when addressing mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Previous experience as a company driver, specifically with semi-trucks and tanker vehicles
