Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to develop accurate plumbing estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain quotes and pricing information.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a plumbing estimator, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Fast Est estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, construction processes, and the ability to analyze project specifications and blueprints.
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
