About the role
- This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.

Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
- Document and analyze test results and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions for technical challenges.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field of study.
- 1+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
- In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Proficiency in electronic, mechanical, or optical systems troubleshooting.
- You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD software.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or training experience.
- Advanced understanding of calibration and testing equipment.
