About the role
- This role functions closest to a self-contained classroom, not a traditional pull-out model, and requires strong expertise in small-group instruction, individualized learning, and classroom structure.
Responsibilities
- Instruction & Student Support
- Deliver differentiated, standards-based instruction in reading, writing, and math aligned to IEP goals
- Manage a student caseload, ensuring IEP goals, services, accommodations, and supports are implemented with fidelity
- Maintain accurate compliance records and participate meaningfully in IEP meetings
- Lead and coach paraprofessionals and 1:1 aides to ensure consistent instructional delivery
- Build proactive relationships with families and communicate regularly about student progress
- Partner with families to support academic, functional, and social-emotional growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
- Ability to use student data to adjust instruction, address misconceptions, and accelerate growth.
