About the role
- Day Surgery nurses are responsible for preoperative preparation of surgical patients and the phase II recovery and discharge for patients who are leaving the facility following surgery.
- There are 24 individual patient care bays, access to two medication rooms with Omnicells, and a centralized nurse's station.

Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Teammates work closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver excellent care to our patients.

- Department: 37708 Atrium Health Pineville - Pre/Post Surgery Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 24 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Part Time 0500-1330 x3 days/week, some on-call requirements Pay Range: $38.20
