About the role
- As a Nurse Practitioner with our Team, you will work both independently and in collaboration with community Physicians and other health care professionals across multiple clinic sites to assess, diagnose and treat health problems.
- The Nurse Practitioner, in partnership with other team members and collaborators, seeks to provide culturally appropriate care to all clients as part of their commitment to providing safe, person-centered care.
- The position requires culturally appropriate care delivery for Indigenous community members.
Responsibilities
- Works to design, implement and support specialty clinics (including unattached, harm reduction, vaccination, screening, palliative) in collaboration with the team and community Physicians.
- Maintains accurate records of clients' visits and encounters, including phone encounters, using the charting and recording formats established within the EMR identified by KCHC.
- Supports consistent application and development of KCHC policies and procedures
- Supports KCHC's student and volunteer placement programs

Compensation
- $109,054.40 - $128,291.80 Annual

- Assists other nursing staff in administrative and clinical duties as required, including supporting coverage for other primary care Providers.
