About the role

  • The Director of Environmental Compliance is in charge of establishing, implementing, and overseeing corporate environmental programs, permitting, remedial efforts, and ensuring compliance with government regulatory authorities.
  • This role will report directly to the Vice President of Environmental, Health, and Safety and oversee two direct reports and contract personnel.
  • Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical expertise, guidance, and leadership to implement applicable
  • Partner across functions to ensure robust systems in place to meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations in the areas of environmental compliance.
  • Perform calculations to support reporting, permit applications and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree is required
  • 15+ years environmental management experience, 10+ years management of people and engineering.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50%.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to changing needs and priorities while maintaining a positive attitude with a focus on client success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish trust and relationships.

Nice to have

  • Post graduate degree, preferred.
  • Professional Engineer, preferred.

Compensation

  • $153,000-$195,500
  • We offer competitive salary, benefits, 401k, and vacation packages for all full time permanent positions.
