About the role

  • CNC Setup Technician is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring precision in manufacturing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Work closely with CNC programmers to optimize tool paths and machining strategies, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Proven ability to set up and support:
  • Ability to perform first-article inspections, make setup adjustments, and ensure parts meet quality requirements

Requirements

  • Perform first-article inspections and ongoing quality checks to ensure that machined parts meet required specifications.
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in CNC setup and operation, with a strong understanding of G-code and machining processes.
