About the role
- We are currently looking to fill the position of Preconstruction -Senior Analyst (NJ).
- This role will report to the Senior Manager for Illinois on the Preconstruction Team.
- The Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing a portfolio of early-stage development rooftop community solar projects.
Responsibilities
- Manages all Project Management aspects of the projects from handoff through submission of construction permits.
- Manages site evaluation data in internal CRM, researching relevant data when necessary
- Maintains a knowledge base on AHJ requirements including relevant zoning parameters, ordinances and codes
- Understands project feasibility documents such as ALTA, Title, Leases, and tracks them for projects
- Assists Engineering team in decisions and development of the project design in compliance with Local, Company, and Customer requirements.
- Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Management or related field of study.
- 2+ years development, construction, and/or engineering experience in Solar.
- Knowledge of behind-the-meter and Utility interconnections.
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements
- must be willing to travel to various job sites.
- Ensures all preconstruction site visits are completed, and information required for feasibility is obtained
- Process submittals and RFIs as required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Dynamics 365 (or other construction management software), Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bluebeam or equivalent pdf editor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective Negotiation skills.
- Understanding of Purchase Order, Subcontract, PPA, EPC Contracts and Project accounting.
- Organization and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.
