About the role

  • We are currently looking to fill the position of Preconstruction -Senior Analyst (NJ).
  • This role will report to the Senior Manager for Illinois on the Preconstruction Team.
  • The Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing a portfolio of early-stage development rooftop community solar projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all Project Management aspects of the projects from handoff through submission of construction permits.
  • Manages site evaluation data in internal CRM, researching relevant data when necessary
  • Maintains a knowledge base on AHJ requirements including relevant zoning parameters, ordinances and codes
  • Understands project feasibility documents such as ALTA, Title, Leases, and tracks them for projects
  • Assists Engineering team in decisions and development of the project design in compliance with Local, Company, and Customer requirements.
  • Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments.
  • Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power - delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America's energy and future right where it's needed most.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Management or related field of study.
  • 2+ years development, construction, and/or engineering experience in Solar.
  • Knowledge of behind-the-meter and Utility interconnections.
  • Knowledge of construction safety requirements
  • must be willing to travel to various job sites.
  • Ensures all preconstruction site visits are completed, and information required for feasibility is obtained
  • Process submittals and RFIs as required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Dynamics 365 (or other construction management software), Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bluebeam or equivalent pdf editor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective Negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of Purchase Order, Subcontract, PPA, EPC Contracts and Project accounting.
  • Organization and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.
