About the role
- Service and maintain equipment to support manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including greasing, oiling, and inspecting chains, belts, and conveying systems
- Inspect and maintain bearings, fluid levels, chain/belt tension, sprockets, gears, pins, and guards
- Maintain working knowledge of plant operations, including unloading, processing, and packaging systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance and repair work
- Perform basic fabrication using welders, torches, and related tools
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic operational repairs
- Support production and other departments as directed by leadership
- Maintain flexibility to work day or night shifts and adjust schedule as needed to support business demands
Requirements
- Perform and support HIP (High-Pressure or related) operations as required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
