About the role

  • Located in the heart of downtown Austin, our lifestyle hotel features 212 guestrooms, flexible meeting and event spaces, and elevated dining experiences at Graffiti and Limestone Rooftop.
  • This role is ideal for a proactive hospitality sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for guests and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue, room night, and profitability goals.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound sales efforts, networking, client appointments, and industry engagement.
  • Identify target accounts and develop strategies to drive new and repeat business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, third-party partners, and community organizations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through execution while ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Drive repeat business through proactive account management and relationship building.
  • Respond to leads and RFPs promptly while maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
  • Maintain accurate client information, activities, and forecasts within sales systems.
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Event Planning, Operations, and Marketing teams to maximize opportunities and deliver successful events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in an upscale, lifestyle, or full-service hotel.
  • Proven success achieving sales goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and the Austin hospitality market preferred.
  • Experience with Delphi FDC, CVENT, Knowland, and Microsoft Office preferred.
