Works with Design Engineers and customer in early program stages to decide upon necessary levels of testing or to make recommendations on use of certain components which will enhance product quality or reliability
Travel as needed to support operations

BS Degree in Engineering
2 years work experience in manufacturing quality
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing-related software applications
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

Advance use of statistical tools to analyze data and identify root cause of defects
Drives scrap performance improvement and management
Utilizes advanced problem-solving tools and processes to reduce manufacturing defects
Supports new product launches and model rolls
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for product / line quality and customer contact in the series production phase, with a focus on the end of the new facility project, in an automotive manufacturing environment.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $81,500 - $100,000 a year depending on experience.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Communicates outcome of component quality or product reliability tests both verbally and in writing to a variety of customers, engineers and management personnel.
