About the role
- LINK is actively seeking a Senior Strategist; Speech Writer to join our dynamic team, where we leverage strong partnerships and a robust portfolio of clients across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with clients to define missions, visions, strategic goals, and measurable KPIs/OKRs aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Lead strategic planning efforts, scenario planning, and initiative prioritization.
- Identify opportunities to create tangible business value and convert emerging needs into expanded engagements.
- Provide executive-level speech writing support for a Department of Navy client, including development of and alignment with strategic themes and messages, and adaptation of communication to match the speaker's style.
- Design content structures, hierarchies, and visual concepts (e.g., content maps, wireframes) in collaboration with creative teams to clearly communicate complex information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic communication, public affairs, program management, consulting, strategy, or similar role.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting executive communication.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear, approachable, and knowledgeable manner.
- Some travel required to attend relevant events and conferences, and participate in LINK team events
- Ability to build and maintain robust client relationships and foster positive interpersonal connections.
- Interest in visual storytelling, including data visualization and conceptualizing abstract ideas.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working with the Department of War.
- Demonstrated experience writing speeches for senior military leaders.

- Secret or Top Secret preferred.
- Active Clearance: Secret or Top Secret preferred.
Compensation
- We're committed to offering competitive compensation.
- While the salary range for this position is $112,000-$151,000 your final offer may be adjusted based on factors like experience and location.
