About the role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Master Data Management (MDM) System Analyst to join our master data management team.
  • The MDM Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of critical business data across systems.
  • This role plays a key part in supporting enterprise data initiatives, improving data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Employ strong Python and programming skills to quickly resolve data discrepancies and build/restructure business rules and conditions.
  • Support MDM tools and platforms, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform analysis and determine root-cause of problems.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and governance processes.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data definitions, data flows, and business rules.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data management, data profiling & cleansing, system integrations working with master data systems.
  • Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Syndigo, Stibo) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, APIs, and data analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate autonomously.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) is desirable.
