About the role
- You will be applying expertise in JavaScript and modern web frameworks to enable rapid search, discovery, visualization, and retrieval of data.
- This position will largely be performed at Awetomaton Beavercreek HQ, with occasional trips to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for meetings and software deliveries.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline
- Seven (7) years of minimum experience in a software focused engineering career (Software Engineer, Computer Science, etc.)
- Five (5) years of minimum experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML
- Five (5) years of minimum experience with back-end development using Node.js, including frameworks like Express.js or similar
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
- Experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.)
- Seven (7) years of experience developing web applications with modern web app libraries and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, etc).
- Experience with React frameworks such as Next.js or React Router
- Experience with database design, querying, and integration (e.g., ORM tools like Sequelize or Mongoose)
- Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repository (GitHub / Gitlab / etc.)
