About the role
- This position will require some domestic travel, approximately 15%.
Responsibilities
- Underwriters are responsible for developing client relationships and submission flow, as well as underwriting and negotiating the transactions.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years property insurer or reinsurer underwriting experience
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree (ideally with a degree/major in Risk Management, Economics, or Business) or equivalent training required
- Additional industry-specific study and designations (such as CPCU, ARe) a plus
Compensation
- For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided.
- The above pay range may be modified in the future.
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
