Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with business unit team members through an open and collaborative style.
  • You will collaborate with a team of Vizient attorneys to provide efficient service to a broad array of clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required.
  • Admission to the bar in at least one state required.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience working as legal counsel in a law firm and/or in-house required
  • Proven ability to take a proactive long-term view of business goals and objectives to achieve strategic business results.
  • Extensive knowledge and negotiation experience working with complex commercial transactions and general contracting matters.
  • Ability to effectively manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, and to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ideal candidate will join us in a hybrid workplace model (3 days in office) at our office located in Irving, TX.

  • At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.

Compensation

  • The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.
