About the role

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of ISSO or ISS Engineer experience in a cleared environment
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
  • An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to A&A packages and system accreditation processes
  • Employment decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.

Skills

  • Understands foundational security concepts, network principles, OS security, cloud threat protection, and compliance standards.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and monitoring under guidance.
  • This position will be 100% onsite in Quantico, VA.
  • This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.
  • Assist in ensuring systems are fully scoped with all components and technology stacks accurately inventoried.

Compensation

  • At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $68,000-$104,000 per year.
