About the role
- This role focuses on assisting with system authorization activities, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting continuous monitoring efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support documentation, testing, and ongoing review of system security controls

Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of ISSO or ISS Engineer experience in a cleared environment
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity with security tools such as:

- Exposure to A&A packages and system accreditation processes
- Employment decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
Skills
- Understands foundational security concepts, network principles, OS security, cloud threat protection, and compliance standards.
- Performs basic troubleshooting and monitoring under guidance.
- This position will be 100% onsite in Quantico, VA.
- This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.
- Assist in ensuring systems are fully scoped with all components and technology stacks accurately inventoried.
Compensation
- At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $68,000-$104,000 per year.
