About the role
- Over an 8-week season, you'll be on the ground documenting training sessions, games, kids, and coaches - the focus on a young athlete's face, a coach mid-instruction, a team celebrating a win.
- It's an ideal summer role for a photography or art student, or recent grad, who already shoots and wants consistent, high-volume experience in a fast-moving, people-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Your images will help tell the story of what we do to families, partners, and our wider community.
- Your own DSLR or mirrorless camera and relevant gear (lenses, memory cards, etc.) Experience shooting sports or other fast-action photography Currently studying or recently graduated in photography, art, or a related field A strong eye for composition, timing, and storytelling Comfort working around children; a professional, patient demeanor Availability for the full 8-week term, Mon-Fri, 9 AM-5 PM
- Intensive portfolio-building over a full summer of shoots Potential for a reference/recommendation and future seasonal rehire
