About the role
- This full-time, on-site HR Generalist role is hiring immediately and is ideal for a human resources professional experienced in employee relations, HR compliance, and workplace investigations within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Conduct and lead HR investigations from intake through resolution, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Support administration and resolution of workers' compensation claims
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards
- Design and deliver training programs for employees and leadership on HR policies and performance management
- Maintain personnel records; scanning, indexing and reviewing files.
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative support
Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Generalist role brings strong problem-solving skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to guide leaders through complex HR situations.
- Success in this role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards.
- 2-5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Nice to have
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or timeshare industry preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO)
- Experience conducting employee relations investigations and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
