Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans within the public sector
- Accurately forecast pipeline activity and maintain CRM records
- Build long-term relationships with key public sector decision-makers, influencers, and senior stakeholders
- Manage expectations during presales, procurement, delivery, and aftercare
Requirements
- We're seeking a commercially focused individual with a proven track record of selling into public sector organisations.
Nice to have
- Stay informed of public sector procurement regulations, funding cycles, and compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience closing complex B2B deals, with at least 2 years in the US public sector market
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and public sector contracting
- Experience selling to senior-level executives in public sector agencies
- Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Skilled in account planning, negotiation, and consultative selling
- Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting
Skills
