About the role
- The Property Supervisor serves as the central authority for the collection, inventory, safeguarding, tracking, storage, and return of all detainees' personal property within a federally contracted ICE processing facility.
- The Property Supervisor functions as the single point of responsibility for property control operations, ensuring that all items are handled securely, ethically, and consistently throughout the intake, storage, and discharge lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- We provide a range of professional services, including specialized facilities, customized logistics support, and direct care services.
- Property Tracking, Auditing & Accountability Maintain real-time tracking and accountability for all detainee property.
- Missing items Documentation discrepancies Chain-of-custody breaks Implement corrective actions and ensure resolution of discrepancies.
- Support internal QA/QC programs and external audits, ensuring documentation and records meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain full documentation for Returned property, Abandoned, transferred, or disposed items.
- Maintain readiness for Federal inspections, external oversight reviews.
- Lost or missing property Theft or mishandling allegations Documentation errors Conduct reviews and implement corrective action plans aligned with compliance practices.

Nice to have
- Properly documented Reported through appropriate channels Required Qualifications & Core Competencies Minimum 2 years of experience in property control, inventory management, logistics, or asset accountability.
- Experience working in secure environments, government, corrections, or compliance-driven settings preferred.
- 2+ years of direct staff supervision/management experience Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, chain-of-custody procedures, recordkeeping and audit practices.
