About the role

  • Position Overview The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
  • Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Security Services, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis.
  • Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Responsibilities

  • At times, it will be expected that Security Officers manage agitated or aggressive patients or visitors.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record if candidate will be driving a vehicle while working, or if not, must have a valid NYS ID Card

Nice to have

  • One year experience in a Security related field.

Compensation

  • $21.31 - $30.90 per hour, depending on experience
