About the role

  • This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, identifying deficiencies early, and supporting continuous improvement across field operations.
  • The Quality Control Manager works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other QC Managers to ensure proper implementation of the project quality plan and accurate documentation of all quality-related activities.
  • Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and tolerances.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized quality control records, including inspection logs, testing reports, and photographic documentation.
  • Track non-conformance reports and support resolution in coordination with project leadership.
  • Support implementation of the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
  • Support training efforts related to quality procedures and documentation standards.
  • Maintain professional interactions with inspectors, clients, and subcontractors.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction field experience.
  • Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or materials testing preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites potentially across state lines.
