About the role
- This position is responsible for the direct supervision of house parents and other home life staff as assigned, to include coordination of staff scheduling, transportation and related activities.
- This position must reside on campus; housing is provided.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and ongoing development for House Parents and new residential staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support House Parents and residential staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to program expectations.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and promote effective communication among residential staff and support teams.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for residents using approved intervention methods.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement resident care plans, interventions, and best practices.
- Plan and lead community-building events and activities that foster connection, belonging, and recognition for staff and residents.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in childcare is required.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
- Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be available for travel as needed.
